Friends of Chevin Forest AGM 2024

Join us for the Friends of Chevin Forest Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Tuesday 16th April 2024.

We’ll meet upstairs in the Black Horse, Otley from 8 – 9:30 pm.

After discussing our annual reports and electing officers for the year ahead, we’ll hear from a guest speaker Dr Cat Scott on “Trees and Climate: from local to global scales”.

Cat is an environmental scientist at the University of Leeds and was recently involved in the planting of Gair Wood in north Leeds. Cat’s work focuses on the interactions between forests and the wider environment around them – in this presentation she will share findings from her work focussing on Leeds, the UK and beyond.
