Several pieces of new research relating to parks and green spaces have been published in recent days.
The evidence is overwhelming, people from BAME communities, as well as those living in the most disadvantaged areas, have less access to green space close to home. These are precisely the people which our Revaluing Parks and Green Spaces research identifies as valuing green space the highest. We need to act strategically now – and protect these green spaces for good.
